The US Student Loan Debt has surpassed the total Credit Card Debt

Education shouldn't be viewed as a luxury. why can't we agree as a society that having an educated and skilled workforce will benefit us all? similarly granting our youth entry into the working world only by virtue of them indenturing themselves is criminal. In Europe education is a RIGHT and is free , in The USA education is a PRIVILEGE and costs huge. Unless something is going to be done, then things are going to get worse

US student loan debt has surpassed the total credit card debt and has reached nearly $1 trillion. Jacob speaks with a representative of the Guardian's US Student Debt Project which presents the stories of those affected by this crushing debt.
